Question 6 :What is your favorite song, one in Korean song or pop-song?

My answer is:
My favorate Korean song is Pansori, a traditional Korean song.
Especially I like "Sacholga" sung by Chosanghyeon, a famous traditional, Korean singer .
Do you know the truth that Pansori is only sung by Jelloa province dialects?
We can't sing it in Seoulite's language.
If we sing it by using Korean standard language, we never feel the real taste and emotion of Pansori.

Hey~~It's really good to visit your blog^^

My favorite song is "Something Beautiful" by Robbie Williams. The reason is that the lyric is really poetic and helps me energize. Also I like the handsome looks of him^^

My favorite korean song is maybe "why" by Rain. Actualy I like his voice whenever he sing a slow, rhythmical and sad song. He is more gorgous when he sing these kinds of song^^

Hi, Johnson
I like 'Annie's Song' sung by John Denver because of the singer's beautiful voice and the poetic lyrics.

Hi Johnson,
Thank you for explaining about the differences in the dialects of Korea. Very interesting viewopoint on how language affects culture.
My favorite music changes all the time but these days I'm listening to a lot of African drum music.

I like pansori, too. I don't know a lot about it. Whenever I listen to korean traditional music, I feel comfortable. I am sure that you must have seen 'supunje'. It is related on the pansori. Pansori is very valuable intangible cultural asset.
